The Role
Great experience, throughly enjoyed the work
All my work is being used by employees
My mentor and manager gave all of their spare time to help me with my projects
I was given projects to do that allowed me to work pretty much at my own pace
All of my projects were low priority but I received a lot of positive feedback on the usefulness of my minor changes
As I did a computer science based intern-ship, it used the skills I have honed in my university course and provided practice ready for my next year
The Company
The other interns were fantastic and the whole office had a very friendly atmosphere as well as treating us like real employees
The internship is a well established program and this was evident throughout the summer
We were given ample training as well as extra optional financial training
Company Parties/Events
I'm hoping to hear back in the next couple of weeks with a job offer
The Culture
We organised a lot of our own social activities but some were provided by the company
Living expenses were fairly high, but what I was expecting from London and we were paid very well.
There were bars and clubs in the area but I did not use them much due to the long working hours.
Extra activities were organised for the internship scheme amounting to 5 or 6 over the summer
