The Role
Best internship I've done so far (4th in the banking industry). Great culture that allow to talk to anybody in the firm. Lots of effort to make this summer internship very exciting: training sessions, social events, team building events...
I felt completely included in the team
Managers are very close and supportive. Great feedback process that enables to understand what to do better.
Very very busy... but can you expect anything else from an internship in IB?
Took part in every kind of task that can be asked to an analyst
Great training at the beginning of the program Associates very dedicated to teaching analysts and interns
The Company
Very casual, good fun with juniors and seniors are very friendly and easy to talk to.
Everything was flawless from day one to the last day
The training session is first class ! small groups, brilliant teachers ! It really seems to be a priority for the firm
Financial Bonus
Company Parties/Events
I will join the graduate program in February 2013
The Culture
Great spirit amongst interns: regularly, interns met for a beer or a football game next to the office
London is expensive, but Canary Wharf is relatively affordable, especially with the high wages and living allowance for summer interns
Great bars when you have time to go out, Canary Wharf is a lively area at night
The firms pushes people to get involved in other activities: social initiatives... Plus lots of gym clubs around work
