The Role
It was enjoyable and provided exposure to different areas in the business.
I got along with everyone I worked with and they all made an effort and try and get to know me better.
Guidance was provided whenever I asked for it.
I was very busy throughout my internship which is exactly what I was looking for. It helped me maximise learning. Although at times it did mean cancelling plans with friends in order to get work done.
I was given as much as I wanted. I took the intiative to take on more responsibility when I felt I was able and was always given support.
I had not studied finance so all skills I picked up were new and helpful and will stay for life.
The Company
I think it was a good balance of work and play.
They are used to having interns and know how to train and support them.
I was provided with all the training and help I needed / requested.
Company Parties/Events
Working from home
Was offered a role prior to the completion of my internship.
The Culture
We had a few team dinners / team events.
It was expensive but not beyond the scope of an intern's salary.
The night life is not so active - few bars / restaurants. But I am not too far from some of the more exciting nightlife
If interested, you can find pretty much anything you want and get involved in it.
