The Role
I enjoyed myself during my internship. I made a few lasting friendships and gained a lot of valuable experience which has allowed me an insight into the working world.
Never felt like an intern. Always felt like a valued member of the team.
Could always ask my line manager a question, no matter how busy he was. He really made an effort to find out how I was getting on and to make sure I was happy with the workload etc
Felt slightly lost at the start of my internship but I think that was just a case of me finding my feet. once I did I felt comfortable with the workload I was given.
I was given quite a lot of responsibility during my internship. I deputised for my project manager while she was away for our daily team meetings but I never felt out of my depth. It definitely made me feel alot more involved with the project.
My confidence soared during my internship. The skills I gained while at my internship will help me greatly during my last year at university especially with our group project, where the team working and leadership skills I have learnt will enhance how I take on the project.
The Company
wasn't the most lively environment but it certainly wasn't boring. Had a lot of meetings so was hardly ever at my desk.
Really well organised. Love the amount of social events. It's a shame some events had to be cancelled due to events beyond the organisers control but nevertheless there were many valuable networking opportunities.
We had a 3 day training event plus mandatory talks and workshops throughout the internship. We also had a talk from on the of the global COO's of the company which really inspired me to achieve the very best I could.

Company Parties/Events
The Culture
People organised they're own social events such as a weekly clubbing night and the company also organised a mid term social which was amazing! lots of team building activities, food and drink! There was also an end of internship party at a club in central london, definitely a final opportunity was the interns to let their hair down one last time.
I got accommodation given to me by the company which was pretty amazing as I was could walk to work every morning. There was also at least two social events per week and all the drinks/food was free!
its canary wharf so obviously not an amazing night life everyone pretty much leaves by 8 but its central london so night life is going a tube ride away...
there was a volunteering afternoon where you could either garden or make toys this was great for networking with other interns and giving back to the community
