The Role
I really enjoyed my time at the firm. We were treated with lots of respect and given lots of treats and a variety of work
Everyone made sure I understood what I was doing and I was given real work. I was personally thanked by a partner for something I did which I felt showed he valued me.
I was always in an office with someone who ensured I understood what I was doing
If I didn't have enough work I could just ask and someone would find me something
I did some research that was sent straight on to a client without any changes being made.
They will be invaluable in my future career as a trainee lawyer
The Company
It was realtively serious but everyone was very welcoming and friendly
It was perfectly organised and felt very professional
We were given detailed feedback once we had left and prior to our trianing contract interviews. We were also given trianing in computer skills and presentations
Subsidised Canteen
Subsidised/Company Gym
Company Parties/Events
They offered me a training contract, which I did not take, but that is perhaps a choice I will regret! It was a very hard decision"
The Culture
We all got on well and regularly went for drinks
Expensive, as central London always is
There was a wide variety of things to do near the office
I think we may have been invited along to company sports club training
