The Role
PLEASE NOTE: This review was for a placement at General Motors prior to the amalgamation of Vauxhall and General Motors (The RateMyPlacement Team) Some interesting projects and variety
At times felt a little under-utilized
When prompted for, given management time
Daily admin duties, helping team with problems etc.
Would have liked more responsibility
Gave better insight into industry
The Company
Variety of people and generally optimistic
Good scheme, support network, social events, training.
Enrolled in courses (online) and a few training sessions
Company Parties/Events
No grad scheme at present, but good for placements
The Culture
Lots of students, however those based at Maidenhead were isolated from the bulk of the other students.
Cheapish area, accomodation etc is reasonable for area.
Not great, but not too far from London
only if you took the initiative
