The Role
The Internship was good fun, and I met lots of like minded and ambitious people. I would say that the job is quite sales based, which is good fun. If you haven't considered a career in sales then definitely give this or something else a try because it has been an eye opener for me
I built up a really good bond with the people I worked with. This may have something to do with being in the heathrow branch which is really big, but everyone was really nice and we went out together and played sports together etc.
I was given support, but it was more on the job and could have done with some more opportunity for meetings. Having said that, when I or others did ask then the managers always booked in time with them
Some says were a bit quiet, and I always preferred to be very busy that not busy. It is a fast paced job, so when it is quiet it is easy to get fatigued with it
I was given a reasonable amount of responsibility, but that was mainly because I looked for it. I think you need to have a passion for management, and otherwise they wouldnt just give you control of things
I truly believe that sales experience is invaluable. It shows that you not only understand the need for customers, but also what things benefit them and how to shine the best light on something. I have built up a much better understanding of this, and I have also had a chance to show leadership qualities too
The Company
Everyone was always up for a laugh and a bit of banter. I never had a boring moment in the office
The training week was excellent, after that it is mainly just learning on the job, and there is the possibility that without seeking to learn something you wouldn't be taught

The Culture
Went out to the pub on numerous occasions. Colleagues were generally happy to spend time with each other, and have fun
London can be expensive. I think everyone knows that!
LONDON! Aside from being expensive there are endless opportunities to go out and to experience different things.
I was doing shift work which made this difficult. However there are clubs of all sorts nearby if you have a look for them
