  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?

    • Getting up in the mornings was hard for the 7.30 start, but the job was ok, if a little un-stretching.

    • I was quite used in the office becuse i could solve their MS office problems

    • I was told what had to be done, and by when, and was allowed to get on with it

    • At times, "bored or too busy" summed it up exactly!

    • It was only for 3 months, so i was allowed to be independent, but not much responsibility

    • Learnt about different technical processes that i had no experience of before hand

  • 7. What was the general atmosphere in your office?

    • Small office, with a nice bunch of people, so quite a lot of banter

    • Very good grad / intern scheme set up

    • Went on the "gas turbines course", no other extra training given, apart from what i learnt on the job

    • Chance to return next year as an intern, and then as a graduate

  • 12. Was there a good social scene amongst any fellow placement students/colleagues?

    • Quite a large group, so some good socials

    • I lived at home...

    • Lived at home, so returned to old haunts
