The Role
I thought the internship was brilliant, with large amounts of effort going into organising and structuring the placement. I feel like i gained a lot and had a great experience.
Very much valued. Although I was often working in technical areas, any contributions I did make were appreciated and taken on board. I was always included in the office discussions and invited to meetings
I was always provided with help and assistance on every level. Any questions which needed to be clarified were were always answered, but i was given the opportunity to discover answers / solutions myself at first.
Extremely busy, but in a positive way. I had numerous jobs at the same time, but that really gave me the opportunity to practise my time-management skills and work on dealing with an intense environment.
As many of the matters I was involved in were extremely technical, my ability to actually manage tasks was relatively limited. However, I did have the responsibility to ensure that I was organising my tasks and submitting them in time.
The experience of working in a coporate environment was extremely beneficial, time-management, organising meetings, taking notes, minutes, and admin work
The Company
Lots of social opportunities, with a great, pleasant environment and atmosphere
It was brilliantly done, with lots of effort placed into all the different areas of the internship structure. There always lots organised for us, and we were treated well at all times.
Lots of training, lots of social events, salary, made sure that we knew that they wanted us to work for them and and general training and help
Subsidised Canteen

The Culture

An expensive area, but the perks of having great bars and places to go
Lots of variety and opportunity. clubs, bars and restaurants all within easy reach
