The Role
Very enjoyable and challenging work
All colleagues were extremely helpful when asked for help and were approachable.
Guidance is given but interns are also given a fair amount of independence to do their project.
I was given a reasonable amount of work but some days went by a bit slowly
Not a massive amount of responsibility unfortunately but this would be expected for an internship
This placement was definitely relevant to my degree and helped towards it
The Company
I was assigned an office exclusively of interns so this may not reflect the general office atmosphere but it was enjoyable and relaxed.
HR was efficient in organizing this placement
We had a full day induction and every so often we had Lunch and Learn
Flexi Time
Subsidised/Company Gym
Company Parties/Events
They do not however have London offices which would be a big plus.
The Culture
Not that many activities were organized
Pubs and clubs (not that many in Cambridge) same price or a a bit under London ones
Coming from London this is a difficult criteria to match
Team ARM organizes events such as the London to Cambridge cycling event that all employees are asked to join.
