The Role
The 10-week placement passed by very quickly and I enjoyed almost all of the work I was given to do.
Everyone was very welcoming and I felt like part of the team from the start. I was never treated like someone below them either.
Weekly one-to-ones and the 'buddy' programme meant there was always someone looking out for me and advising me in the right direction.
While completing the project I felt particularly busy but at other times I was given enough work and learning exercises so that I wasn't bored.
I was given the responsibility of completing and presenting the project on time. The opportunity to visit a firm, and to write letters to another firm enabled me to gain some responsibility
Team work skills, presentation skills and general knowledge about the job and industry have been gained. These will help in my final year at university and also in a graduate job if I manage to secure one.

The Culture
The London office had 24 interns while there were only 3 in Edinburgh. I feel there would have been a better social scence amongst other placement students if i was in the London office
I joined an exercise class with other people from the offie
