  • Everyone was very welcoming and I felt like part of the team from the start. I was never treated like someone below them either.

  • 3. To what extent were you given support and guidance by management/your supervisor(s)?
  • Weekly one-to-ones and the 'buddy' programme meant there was always someone looking out for me and advising me in the right direction.

    5/5

  • 4. How busy were you on a daily basis?
  • While completing the project I felt particularly busy but at other times I was given enough work and learning exercises so that I wasn't bored.

    3/5

  • 5. How much responsibility were you given during your placement?
  • I was given the responsibility of completing and presenting the project on time. The opportunity to visit a firm, and to write letters to another firm enabled me to gain some responsibility

  • 6. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and training you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?
  • Team work skills, presentation skills and general knowledge about the job and industry have been gained. These will help in my final year at university and also in a graduate job if I manage to secure one.
