The Role
A very organised placement. Play hard work hard probably summed up my perspective.
Everyone was very helpful and willing to help. Conversations and small chats usually flows.
Help and support was given whenever needed, but it's worth trying to solve problem by yourself first.
Depends on the department and their level of work at that time. Where it was less busy, I had work at hand to fill up my time, but where it was busy, it could get slightly stressful if one does not manage his/her time well.
Quite a great deal of responsibility was given to me. Perfect experience as an intern.
The skills learnt throughout the internship will help in your training contract.
The Company
Lively, fun and friendly. A good balance of fun and work is present.
Very well organised. A timetable kept us informed of events throughout the week. The graduate recruitment team looked after us quite well.
Quite hard to tell here. They say they did and we can tell to a certain extent that we did receive a lot of training and development. But I wonder if more can be done.
Subsidised Canteen
Sports and Social Club
Subsidised/Company Gym
Company Parties/Events
Staff Sales/Staff Shop
Very appealing. They get interns with a view to hire.
The Culture
Yes. Definitely a work hard play hard attitude.
As it is located in the city, quite high. But renumeration given could cover all my expenditures.
Plenty of choices available.
Yes, opportunities are abundant and proactivity will get you involved in anything you like.
