The Role
I enjoyed it, the main benefit was the amount of new skills I learnt.
I was working on an independent project so had very little to do with the rest of my colleagues.
Was in contact with my supervisor daily.
I was a bit bored, the project lacked very specific goals.
I was free to work on what I thought was needed.
The skill I picked up in software development processes will be very useful.
The Company
Quiet work.
The project I was working on had been put together a few days before I arrived.
Was not given any job specific training, learn on the job. There was a general induction day though.
Flexi Time
Sports and Social Club
Subsidised/Company Gym
I would certainly look at working at ARM in the future.
The Culture
Yes stuff was organised regularly.
Reasonably. Accommodation was offered in one of the Cambridge colleges for a reasonable price.
Didn't really go out much so can't really comment.
Yes there were plenty of charity events and social clubs to join and take part in.
