The Role
Great place to work although my role was not the perfect job for me.
I was always told by supervisors and managers how important i was and that i was of equal importance to all other members of staff.
My team leader and manager were supportive in both work situations and life situations (for example it was the first time i had my own flat and was away from home).
Some days were busy and some were not as the business is affected by seasonal fluctuations.
One very important job was completely left to me and another intern and we were the only members of staff who knew how to do it!
I cannot comment on this yet as only left my placement a few weeks ago but i think i will benefit, especially from an increased confidence.
The Company
Bosch is very big on staff motivation so we did lots of fun stuff for example theme days and parties e.g. jubilee part. Every one in my office were also very friendly and everyones birthdays were also celebrated.
It was set up well although i did have difficulty getting access to everything i needed on the computer to begin with as everything needed written permission from i.t.
I did a lot of different training which i was not required to do but was given the opportunity to do it if i wanted for example day out with an engineer and renewable products training.

I would love to get a graduate job with Bosch just not with the Worcester Bosch group as i feel their is little opportunity in this division.
The Culture
There were about 40 interns on site, everyone has lunch together and we had many nights out. We would celebrate everyones birthdays and also go to the cinema/bowling etc
General costs arent too expensive such as pubs and restaurants etc but cost of rent was high. Average for a 1 bed flat would be between 500-600.
As good as it gets for a small city and everything is in close proximity. It is also a student town so drinks are quite cheap and so is club entrance.
Not many that i was aware of. Their was a social club that you could join but not many interns were involved.
