The Role
I really enjoy the internship. I was given a chance to experience how it is like to work in a professional environment like J.P.Morgan.
My colleagues were very happy to assist me in settling into the workplace. One of my colleagues even offered to teach me the things that I am not sure of even though he was really busy with his own work. This really amazed me!
My manager was very nice to me. He is my first point of contact and he ensured that I have an objective in mind from the beginning of the internship.
My day was quite busy because I was given real responsibility to follow up on a real project.
I was given a project which was supposed to be undertaken by my manager. With some assistant from him, I was able to complete the project and I felt I learnt and grow along the process.
The skills I picked up at J.P.Morgan is going to be useful for me in the future no matter where I end up in. These skills are not something I can pick up from books or schools.
The Company
The office has very friendly people around whom you can approach easily.
The internship is very well structured from the beginning. I have a chance to have a very senior member of the bank as my mentor who assisted and taught me a lot during my stay at the company.
We are allowed to take the courses that are available internally.

Company Parties/Events
Working from home
It is very appealing.
The Culture
Yes, the company organised quite a number of social events. The best one was the British Summer Party where we get to spend time socialising with all interns.
Yes, there is some Focus group within the company where we can sign up to do volunteering work.
