The Role
Really enjoyed the hight level of responsibility and the feeling of being valued.
My collegues were friendly and supportive and made me feel like a valued member of the team.
I was given a personal mentor throughout the placement who provided invaluable support. My team and the Graduate Manager were also fantastic and helped me with every aspect from corporate presentations and project advice to finding my way around the building.
A brilliant work balance, with time to find my feet before I got involved with projects. Also enough time to allow me to investigate other areas of the organisation and help out on a broad range of additional projects.
A high level of exposure to senior management and a high profile project, working with expert members of staff on a daily basis.
As a graduate I had the opportunity to use my degree knowledge and develop excisting skills as well as learn new ones
The Company
I was fully supported and included at every turn, with people I was able to relate to and ask for help at any time.
I was able to complete my projects within my placement and was given extra experiences in different departments, with a monitored project for each
We were given feedback every few weeks and after coporate presentations and assessments. This feedback was comprehensive, constructive and detailed, dedicated to developing our performance.
Flexi Time
Subsidised Canteen
Company Parties/Events
Opportunities to remain with the organisation were readily available to interns at the end of their placement
The Culture
regular social events were organised by both the interns, mentors and Graduate manager, including, meals, nights out and quizzes.
Renting a room in shropshire is a decent price and social events were at affordable venues and not too frequent
Nightlife is available, there are several bars and clubs in the town centre which are easily accesible.
All interns were involved and invited to events on a regular basis, which made socialising easy and helped create a relaxed working environment
