The Role
I had an interesting project on technologies that were new to me, and had the opportunity to work with knowledgeable, experienced and clever engineers.
I was able to contribute to the projects assigned to me.
My managers were happy to give advice and help whenever asked, despite their busy schedule.
I was generally fairly busy, but not so much that I was rushed.
I was given responsibility in the execution of my project, but not in my choice of project.
The skills I have learnt are particularly relevant to my course and to the industry in general.
The Company
I had an interesting office, who were always able to help me with problems.
There could have been more organization prior to the placement; however, it was sufficient.
A training course for interns in my department was organised, which was particularly useful.

ARM regularly employs graduates.
The Culture
There was a very good social scene between fellow placement students.
Cheap accommodation can be found in Cambridge if required.
The nightlife in Cambridge is fine, but comparatively quiet during the summer.
TeamARM are quite active in helping local, Cambridgeshire charities.
