The Role
The Insight Academy was absolutely fantastic. The HR Team and partners were all really helpful and I had a thoroughly enjoyable and valuable time.
PwC staff made the effort to speak to you on a personal and not just a professional basis. They really wanted to know who you were as a person and were more than happy to share stories about their experiences and personal lives.
The Insight Academy is not really a supervised role so not applicable.
There was loads to do and the days and evenings were jam packed. Free time was very scarce. This is fine as you want to gain as many experiences as possible in a short space of time but just be prepared for it!
We were responsible for our own time and what we offered in sessions. Because of the structure it wasn't really a responsibility giving environment.
The whole experience was amazing. I learnt so much in just 3 days and made some great contacts. Going back to Uni with employability and careers skills in your back pocket is a great asset
The Company
It was a residential programme run in a hotel. The atmosphere was great and everyone was there to enjoy their time.
Could not fault any aspect of the organisation of the Insight Academy. Things happened when they were meant to and there was a clear layout to every session.
The whole academy was about personal development and recognising current skills to develop and learning new skills to take away with you

I was successfully accepted onto the summer internship for 2013 as a result of the Insight Academy
The Culture
There was a great social presence over the whole time. There was plenty of time to meet new people and felt like we had known each other ages by the time we left.
Everything was paid for!
Free food and drinks every night. Can't complain!
All activities were previously planned in so couldn't plan your own but didn't need to
