  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?
  • It was excellent as I got involved with real, important projects from day 1.

  • I felt like they trusted me to get on with my work without having to 'spoon-feed' everything to me.

  • They were excellent whenever I went to ask for help, or if I asked to have a 1:1 with them.

  • Very, but not overwhelmingly.

  • I was given my own project to work on from day 1 as well as being given additional work.

  • 6. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and training you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?
  • The interpersonal skills that were developed were invaluable, plus the new knowledge obtained was great for modules when returning to uni.

  • 7. What was the general atmosphere in your office?
  • Great people who are always happy to have a chat, but not to the extent that it's time wasting.

  • Very well established scheme, HR for placements are excellent.

  • 9. In terms of personal training and development, to what extent did the company or firm invest in you?
  • They helped me a lot with training and development. Some courses weren't available to me but that was fair enough as I was only there for 15 months.

  • Enough said, I have a graduate job with them.

  • 12. Was there a good social scene amongst any fellow placement students/colleagues?
  • Always organising events.

  • Compared with my uni it was cheap.

  • Great night life in Leamington with loads of Warwick uni students.

  • 15. Were there many opportunities to get involved in activities outside of work?
  • I took part in the Jaguar Challenge which was an excellent team-building event in September each year.
