The Role
It was excellent as I got involved with real, important projects from day 1.
I felt like they trusted me to get on with my work without having to 'spoon-feed' everything to me.
They were excellent whenever I went to ask for help, or if I asked to have a 1:1 with them.
Very, but not overwhelmingly.
I was given my own project to work on from day 1 as well as being given additional work.
The interpersonal skills that were developed were invaluable, plus the new knowledge obtained was great for modules when returning to uni.
The Company
Great people who are always happy to have a chat, but not to the extent that it's time wasting.
Very well established scheme, HR for placements are excellent.
They helped me a lot with training and development. Some courses weren't available to me but that was fair enough as I was only there for 15 months.
Subsidised Canteen
Subsidised/Company Gym
Staff Sales/Staff Shop
Enough said, I have a graduate job with them.
The Culture
Always organising events.
Compared with my uni it was cheap.
Great night life in Leamington with loads of Warwick uni students.
I took part in the Jaguar Challenge which was an excellent team-building event in September each year.
