The Role
The first couple of months were frustrating while IT hardware was sorted for me and mundane tasks were completed. After this, every day provided a new challenge.
Fully integrated into the whole team and was able to use others' experiences and knowledge to develop my performance.
Development opportunities were endless, I even managed to gain an industry qualification!
The more you get involved, the busier you will be.
In the final six months of placement, I was managing a team that were making changes to processes and introducing new equipment meaning I was in control of a budget and had to deal with suppliers.
The experience opened my eyes to what is possible in the workplace and this will always stay with me.
The Company
Good levels of fun with certain members of staff, other staff weren't involved but this happens everywhere.
Initial start up isn't great. IT systems and hardware take too long.
As previously mentioned I was able to gain an industry qualification.
Flexi Time
Subsidised Canteen
Sports and Social Club
Subsidised/Company Gym
National Travel
Financial Bonus
Company Parties/Events
Above 25 days holiday
Healthcare from home
I worked in Aviation, it is a prosperous business and I will consider working there again.
The Culture
10 other interns plus graduate scheme staff and ex graduate scheme staff all looking to have a good time.
A lot cheaper than London!
Basic but if you're with a good group then it doesn't matter too much.
Always things going on with colleagues; nights out, 3 peaks challenge, mud runner etc.
