The Role
Very insightful to the complete process a buyer has to do on a day to day basis. I wwas involved in every step of the process
Colleasgues and team helped me along the way and were always happy to provide insight on any area of their job
Mangers were a little stand offish and it was mainly my colleagues who supported me
Was neither too busy or bored. Balance was perfect
Was given a reasonable amount of responisbility, represented my department as sevral meetings and was given ownership of some projects
Whole process was very insightful and opened my eyes to the world of automotive purchasing
The Company
Flexi Time
Subsidised Canteen
Staff Sales/Staff Shop
Have to undergo another assessment centre of the same nature to get on the scheme. Seems a waste of money when they are testing what they have already tested? Best person to decide abilities is the manager who worked with you over the summer
The Culture
Never got involved witht the social scene,
Lived away from the area and commuted in, cost of living average for the UK i would suggest
Didn't experience it
Was able to visit and organise a factory tour, and possibliility of going on a land rover experience. Drinks and parties were oragnised in the dept as well
