The Role
I very much enjoyed my role at Xerox, from the social side to the day to day role.
My manager was very friendly and I felt valued at every stage of my placement.
The management are very easy to talk to at Xerox. Everyone is friendly and willing to help.
Somedays I was very busy. However, in the quiet periods I was sometimes lacking work to do. This was my fault at points as I did not ask for work.
I was given a large amount of responsibility at Xerox. This was great for me because I felt I made a big impact while I was there.
As well as improving my skills, it has also matured me as a person and I am now ready to study hard in my final year.
The Company
There was always someone to crack a joke at Xerox, the office is very relaxed.
You are always in contact with a HR employee at Xerox which will help you at every step.
There were many training courses available to me.
Subsidised Canteen
Company Parties/Events
Working from home
Healthcare from home
Xerox are a great company to work for. However, during my time there I realised it was not for me.
The Culture
This is one of the best things about Xerox. They put you into halls so you can meet everyone and I feel I have made friends for life during my year.
Uxbridge is a nice area to live. Cheap and easy access to London.
Nightlife in Uxbridge is not great but a tube journey to London does not take long. We spent the majority of our nights in London.
Socials were regularly organised as well as sporting opportunities.
