The Role
I really enjoyed getting to know the two different departments and being involved in real work
Everybody was really friendly and welcoming
I was really well supervised in one department, less so in the other but this was due to the supervisor being out at meetings so unaviodable really
In one department I was really busy but in the other I had to ask for work which is fine but I don't think there was really enough for me to on the last day or so.
It varied really as to what was available. I don;t believe that anything was held back from me but I don't think I did anything particularly high level.
It was a great experience, juggling interviews and assessments and working and meeting new people and adapting to new situations are all worthwhile skills that I am pleased to work on
The Company
The Plymouth office has a great vibe and the evening with the trainees was lots of fun!
Extremely well set up, thought given to provide a buddy, a welcome lunch and an evening activity along with a structured programme and knowing exactly when our assessments would be.
Training wise there was little to do in term of systems as I was already familiar with it but if I had questions they were answered and if I had needed training, I am sure this would have been provided.

Company Parties/Events
Secured a training contract beginning 2014
The Culture
Some really nice people on the placement, kept in touch with 3 of them and we organised lunches out between us during the placement
It's pretty standard for a city of the size, not London prices but not mega cheap either
There are plenty of places for a good night out
There was an evening social and lunchtime social through the week and the boys could play football after work on a weds (unfirtunately there are no girls sports teams)
