The Role
Wasn't really given much work to do, it was very ad-hoc. When tasks were given they were alot of the time simple excel tasks
Some colleagues were very friendly and supportive and gave feedback on work that I did.
Was not given much support by manager. Was away on two weeks annual leave during the 10 week internship and never really gave time in his schedule for me.
When I had work to do I was busy but there was times when I was doing nothing all day and as I wasn't very experienced there was really any jobs they could give me.
I was given one major task I was responsible for but after that was completed I had no work to do.
The excel skills have been very useful and I also learn more about what the finance function actually does.
The Company
It was quite quiet people just got on with there jobs
The internship was well set up by the graduate team. Various different sessions were organised and from Induction to ending was a well organised process.
Opportunities to learn and do courses were given the company provides various different sessions for interns to attend
Subsidised Canteen
Future employment with the company is appealing when talking to other interns based in other finance divisions
The Culture
We used to go out every Friday as a group
Central London so very expensive
Options are endless in Central London
If you wanted to there were things for you to get involved with
