  • Would have appreciated more feedback and constructive criticism, although was given plenty of support and guidance for projects and daily work.

  • 6. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and training you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?
  • BlackRock uses top quality software which was developed within, and the skills learned from exposure to that, including advancing my knowledge of computer languages, will be used wherever I work. The application of my University knowledge to real life scenarios helped to develop and extend my existing skills

  • Felt very relaxed and comfortable approaching anyone for assistance or to speak about there division.

  • I will hear feedback shortly after finishing my placement. Implications are the interns have largely increased opportunity of being offered graduate placements

  • 12. Was there a good social scene amongst any fellow placement students/colleagues?
  • Mainly through company organised events with the odd exception. I think this largely depends on the group on interns you work with.

  • I stayed with family during the placement.

  • 14. What was the Nightlife like in the area you worked?
  • I didn't experiance as much as I could have hoped, although that I did was good.

  • Not aware of many.
