The Role
The work, whilst hard, was proper work - not typical intern things. I thoroughly enjoyed it and learnt a great deal.
Everybody at PwC was extremely helpful, caring and willing to help out/answer any questions.
Superb support by my buddy and people manager - even though I was only at PwC for eight weeks, I felt extremely valued and my supervisor got to know me well.
Some days were a tad on the boring side, but by being proactive, most days I was busy and had work to do.
Genuine responsibility and working on client work, at a client site. The work I was doing was a vital part of the business.
I have learnt a lot of skills that will help me. It was a wonderful and enlightening experience. A truly great eight weeks that went quicker than I ever thought it would. It is an experience which I will look back on and cherish!
The Company
The PwC office was open and friendly.
Superb organisation.
It was clear that through training, events, evenings etc that a lot of time, money and effort had been spent to make my experience a worthy one.
Subsidised Canteen
Financial Bonus
I was fortunate enough to be offered a graduate job with PwC, which I've accepted.
The Culture
The interns I was with were an extremely social bunch, and I enjoyed their company a lot!
Admittedly, central London during the Olympics - very expensive. However, it was well worth the investment.
London nightlife! From bars, pubs to clubs there is something to cater for everyone.
Yes, football team amongst others. Plenty of chances to widen my experience.
