The Role
The structure of the program was well thought out and benefitted all of us with basic knowledge going in to the program and a proper broad-based introduction to all product groups and roles within the markets. Soft skills were also taught
A lot of follow up with my mentor who was always ready to help out with any questions. One-on-one networking with people on the desk rotations which were very helpful
Patient mentors who were ever ready to answer questions and give me insights into different functions, product groups and data on the desk
Days were packed with desk rotations, lectures and networking was even incorporated into lunches
I was allowed to help execute trades and listen in on sales calls and meetings
Such a good cover of a broad range of topics in the lecture series, and more in depth coverage in the areas of our specified interest on the half day desk rotations, which we had 5 of
The Company
Hyper, noisy, dynamic, active, inspirational!
From networking, intern bonding, mentor meetings, desk rotations, lectures and soft skills teamwork. Everything was seamlessly packed into the week for an extremely rewarding and enjoyable and exhausting 5 days!
Tons of chances to talk to so many analysts/associates/senior managers in the firm, time was definitely invested in getting to know us and also letting us get to know the firm and job roles better
Will definitely love to work within the firm if given the opportunity! Staff seem to work on a flat, open structure and are motivated to do their job whilst providing a great environment to work in
