The Role
My internship had a good variety of work my team in structured finance IB Risk and for my group case study, which was a study where I learnt so much. I also enjoyed the company of all the workers at J.P Morgan.
Yes massively. The work I was doing was of importance for my team and many of them had been on the same internship in the past so they treated me very well.
I was given regular feedback and all my questions were answered.
I was very busy at times and this was mostly due to working on my case study after working for my desk.
I was given my own tasks and projects where it was important that I took full responsibility for them. However, I was given help when I needed it.
As long as I stay in investment banking, which I plan to, the skills I learnt will be very useful.
The Company
I really enjoyed my desk as the people on my team were great. Although working very hard, they knew when to have a laugh.
Perfect mixture of work for desk, case study and training.
Workers gave up a lot of time to assist and train all the interns there.

I got the job.
The Culture
We all got on very well but were also very busy.
Being in canary wharf, it was expensive. However, jp Morgan hosted a few free nights, which were greatly appreciated!
Due to being so busy, I couldn't go out much. However, it's London so there is plenty of nightlife.
There was a cricket team and a squash league. I'm sure there was more as well.
