The Role
The work was hard, but rewarding. Thrown in at the deep end!
Sometimes on my placement I felt like I wasn't valued as highly as other members of staff as I was not there for the long term. However, on the whole, I mostly felt valued.
Excellent mentor program in place.
Occasionally exceptionally busy - occasionally very bored. On the most part though there was a good balance of work to keep me busy but not to excessive levels of overtime.
I was allowed to meet clients and deal with client confidential work so I feel I was given a lot of responsibility.
Excellent business skills gained.
The Company
National Travel
Company Parties/Events
Above 25 days holiday
Have been asked to come back when graduated.
The Culture
Good social scene with graduate employees - not so much the senior staff.
Socializing was cheap - did not live in the area, decided to commute as cheaper.
Very good - a few good company nights out and self arranged nights out with peer group.
Lots of opportunities to volunteer in the community and help out local schools.
