The Role
Having a really good time, with the right amount of responsibility and work
I felt like part of the team, and was delegated work which made me feel valued and trusted
My managers were extremely supportive and helpful, and were there whenever I needed to ask a question or needed clarity. I never felt like I couldn't go to them for anything
Some days were busier than others, but there is always work there if you ask for it on a slow day
I was quite lucky that I came in during a busy time, so was given quite a bit of responsibility, but there was always someone there for support or guidence, and never felt on my own
Mainly workplace skills as well as personal skills have helped me out outside of work, with my confidence growing considerably since starting work
The Company
Atmosphere was different in different offices, but everyone was welcoming and accomadating wherever I was
Good intern plan set up and covered a wide range of experiences
Rolls-Royce are extremely good in investing in training, whatever field you go in to.
Flexi Time

Working from home
I intend to apply for a graduate job with Rolls-Royce
The Culture
There weren't very many year long finance interns, so I didn't have much time so socialise with them, but I have managed to with a few graduates as well as full time employees
Derby is a fairly cheap city to live in, which was helped a lot by the fact that I could live at home
Since I live in Derby, I know the good places to go and you don't have to spend that much either!
There were often social events outside of work, along with sports opportunities with fellow collegues
