The Role
It was a comfortable introduction to the working world.
I was treated on an equal level to all other team members.
I had very little to do but admittedly this was down to me as much as my managers. I didn't speak up when I had little to do as I loved chatting to girls on Facebook far too much.
Having work experience was great for my CV and was a big factor in securing my graduate job.
The Company
Pretty standard - only a couple of other students in my area.
Not a lot, although I could have pushed for more.
Flexi Time
Subsidised Canteen
Company Parties/Events
Working from home
The Culture
Everyone sat together at lunch - about 60 placement students. Played footie every week and quite a few nights out.
Portsmouth is dirt cheap
Gunwarf has a few nice places and a few nice ladies
