The Role
The work was varied, interesting and a challenge was always availble if you were willing to seek it.
Managers within the firm put a large emphasis upon ensuring they appreciate the work of those at all levels, and as such the office has a brilliant atmosphere and you become friends with your colleagues very quickly.
The original training given was extensive and every was always willing to answer questions regardless of how silly they may seem. There were frequent mentoring sessions.
Bussiness levels varied depending on the time of year/ job you were working on. Typical hours varied between 8.45 and 17.15 if you are in the office to 8.00 - 21.00 on the odd day if there was a deadline looming. Work can also be compelted from home.
Significantly more than I anticipated i would be!
The most valuable skills was gaining an insight into what the world of business was like, and they help to guide me with future decisions. Further more, this knowledge helps you to see how your degree course can be applied to the real world.
