The Role
Good work load, very friendly and engaging colleagues. Got to saw many different job roles.
Felt like I could help them out with the skills i learnt - the projects I completed I feel were valued by colleagues which motivated me to do well!
Lots of support helping me with how the LoB worked, financial terms and I received good feedback on a regular basis about my progress. Add weekly meetings to discuss objectives and targets.
Good work load - project based so had to be flexible and adaptable which was interesting. Work was of importance as was client facing. Deadlines were suitable for projects.
I completed analysis that was sent to large clients which feel I a large responsibility.
Communication skills and analytical skills developed massively. Excel and Powerpoint skills also improved which I can now use in my final year at university.
The Company
People were talkative and engaging but the atmosphere was professional which I enjoyed.
Targets and objective were set out well, good opportunities to see different lines of business.
AI feel that colleagues invested alot of time in me so I understood the business well. The online training programmes were excellent and allowed me to complete my work to a high standard as I had good training. Also invested in making the experience enjoyable with social events such as a boat party.
Very appealing, have accepted the job!
The Culture
Good social scene and lots of good social events, organised by both J.P. Morgan and between teh interns.
Reasonable, living was affordable and the student nights were cheap when socialising.
Very good nights, busy and fun loving atmosphere!
Sports events and social event most weeks.
