The Role
Loved it. A great challenge!
I received great support from the area managers I shadowed and my director. I was given tasks which contributed greatly to the performance of the company as a whole which gave me a fantastic sense of achievement at the end of each day.
I received great support especially from the area managers.
Each day was extremely busy especially during store time, due to the increase in demand for Aldi products.
During store time i was in charge of a team of up to 5 people at least 3 times a week :D Great look on my CV!!!!!!!
I gained a lot of transferable skills which will definitely shine. The program has stages in which you are trained in all of the departments of the company eg Logistics, Finance and Admin (All these skills on top of leadership skills gained through store time and shadowing Area Managers). The skills gained can definitely be transferred to any field!
The Company
It was mainly serious work! but the team was welcoming, helpful and fun!
I was given all the resources i needed to achieve my tasks. I enjoyed my financial project in which i travelled to the stores in my region investigation inventory control, and ENFORCING COMPANY PROCEDURE!! :D.
I hope to go back!
