The Role
A really good week where we learnt about the bank, its departments, how they work together and what they look for.
Yes we had to work together on a presentation and everyone integrated really well.
There wasn't a huge amount of this, you were expected to work things out for yourself or ask your peers.
Pretty busy, had breaks but days could last till 11pm.
Not a huge amount but the same as everyone else in the programme.
It was very useful in building my interpersonal and public speaking skills.
The Company
Young vibrant and very relaxed!
Very well organised, everything ran smoothly and you were never sat around bored.
There was a lot of time from staff that was invested, as well as a lot of money into providing a successful one week.
Subsidised Canteen
Financial Bonus
Company Parties/Events
A very friendly and relaxed firm, but whose reputation has been tarnished of late.
The Culture
Yes there were quite a few young people who went out together.
Very expensive as it was the City!
There didn't seem to be many clubs, just bars.
There seemed to be as many as any other investment bank.
