The Role
Manager was very smart and understanding. She was willing to give me high profile tasks once I completed my assigned tasks.
Extremely busy co-workers. Yet, whenever I had the smallest need of help, they never showed as if they were busy. They were very respectful and treated me their equals despite there being a 20 year age and experience difference.
Very forthcoming and helpful. I was very lucky to be guided by my manager.
The onus was on me how I want my day to be. I was given freedom to work on what I wanted to and develop various connections.
It was perfect. I had aspired for high profile tasks and once I proved myself, my manager did not hesitate to give me important planning tasks. Her guidance during this, made me more confident that I could take on bigger roles in the future to come.
I have probably learnt more in these two months of internship than my last 2 years of university. My learning was immense and was all because of an exceptional internship program planning. The onus was on me to take as much as I could. Learning included elements beyond the technical set, it included professionalism(my first work experience, all till this was in school and university), language, different culture(from India to UK), leadership grooming, etc
The Company
Quite busy environment and some jokes in between made it quite casual and friendly.
From induction to end of internship party- flawless.
The management promotes learning. Again, the onus is set on the intern, how much they could take. There were classes for soft skills, presentation skills
Company Parties/Events
and, its time to be a part of it.
The Culture
Very mature, confident and friendly fellow interns. Great bunch of people to hang out with. The screening process should take credit for this.
The canteens were a bit expensive, so is the travel.
Every friday night - "ooo sometimes, I get a good feeling".
I took on Salsa, Boxing, Tennis coaching and Gymming. Would have also wanted to try fencing but could not due to the center being closed at the time.
