The Role
Ended up doing meaningless, monotonous tasks due to a lack of project work being available. Managers generally don't have time for junior members of staff and there is very little human interaction in the Fenchurch Street and Old Bailey offices due to the fact that everyone just stares into a screen all day and has no time to say hello to you.
In one particular project, there was a really positive working atmosphere amongst the team. However, most of the time the managers made no attempt to acknowledge your contribution. Team members were overworked and stressed and had no time for constructive feedback or much help.
Minimal support.
Either busy doing meaningless, soul destroying tasks or bored doing very few tasks that you know no-one will use. Only in the last month did I finally get a chance to make a significant contribution, and my co-workers were very pleased with my contribution.
See my previous responses.
In the sense that I now work a lot more efficiently and am more confident to express myself in my studies in group work I have benefitted. However, I think the benefit could have been more in terms of career-specific skills.
The Company
Terrible. No-one says a word to each other in the Fenchurch Street or Old Bailey offices, and you cant get desks anywhere near your co-workers due to a ridiculously ineffective hot-desking system. A little bit of a laugh and a joke makes a major difference to your day and it was almost depressing how little atmosphere there is in the offices.
No problems with the organisational elements of it, or anyone from HR. Just make sure you stand up for your interests or they might dump you on a terrible project.
Not a lot.

Working from home
I didn't get an offer but had no intention of returning. Good salary and benefits but expect to work very long hours for them.
The Culture
They pay for some nice things, but no-one turns up to any of them because they are in London and most people are out of town. We didn't get a christmas parrty.
Expensive, but living in London always is.
London. Need I say more?
A few seminars and talks after work. Organised a few presentations about job skills.
