  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?

    • Immensely! So much so that I snapped up their job offer immediately.

    • Very valued, even the partners had time for you.

    • Not so much as to feel overly watched but always very happy to listen if you had queries.

    • Very busy but that's because I took on as much work as I could cope with.

    • As much as I could handle.

    • Taught me importance of close reading and checking!

  • 7. What was the general atmosphere in your office?

    • Everyone v friendly with each other and on good terms. Good trainee culture too!

    • Well organised, I was never left at a loose end.

    • In terms of money spent probably not as much as the magic circle firms, but enough for me.

  • 12. Was there a good social scene amongst any fellow placement students/colleagues?

    • Quite good although some feelings of competition, I think.

    • Expensive but no more so than anywhere else in central London.

    • Not sure, mainly congregated in pubs.

    • A few, a keen netball team for the girls and football for the boys.
