The Role
My internship was challenging and gave me a valuable knowlage of the company and the sector
Everyone was lovely and challenging, my bosses gave me work that I felt was worthwile
They were approachable and they understood what I wanted to gain from this internship.
It was in a busy department, it allowed me to use my initiative and I could always find work!
I felt like I was given responsibility and that I worked with the whole team
It gave me an understanding of where my strengths and weaknesses are and how to improve. I now know the area I want to proceed in to once I have graduated
The Company
Everyone was lovely, and the managers understood the challenges they faced. Meetings showed how management really cared about the general atmosphere. The people were absolutely lovely. We even did a mini-Olympics!
This was the first time the department took part in the internship programme I am have confidence that it will build on practice. The placement was organised very well and we even had a meeting for all the interns from the various departments.
They really took time to improve my learning experience.
Subsidised/Company Gym
Above 25 days holiday
I can get fast tracked to the interview stage for a graduate position.
The Culture
It was individual efforts to co-ordinate placements however the co-ordinator helped and the people were lovely and the graduates were really effective organising everyone.
It wasn't too bad. It was a paid internship so I managed to balance all of my outgoings
It was not a university town but behind my offices there were pubs and nice bars.
You can do as much as you wanted.
