The Role
The work I was involved in was really varied and interesting and I felt I was exposed to an excellent range of tasks and issues.
I felt that the work I performed was appreciated and valuable and I was often praised for tasks I had completed.
There was an active and very effective open door policy at RPC and I never felt uncomfortable or stupid asking questions. All members of the team were happy to help, regardless of seniority or experience and the majority of people were approachable.
The workload was heavy but the exposure and the range of work was excellent, so I accepted the heavy workload and long hours.
I was given more responsibility than I expected but it was always against the backdrop of being able to ask for help whenever I needed it.
The experience at RPC was invaluable for the future of my career and I'm very glad to have experienced it.
The Company
The atmosphere changed depending on the department I was in - some were very lively and friendly whereas others were quieter and less jovial.
I was exposed to the areas I had wanted to be exposed to and my involvement on cases was well managed.
I was given a good range of issues to work on which have aided my personal development.
I hope that RPC could be a viable employment option in the future.
The Culture
There was a very active social scene among the other students and everyone was encouraged to get involved.
More expensive than I'm used to.
Huge range of choices in London, so very good.
There were often activities going on outside of work.
