The Role
It was a great experience which made me truly happy.
I had a great time with my colleagues! We were going out together after work every week and once we even sang happy birthday over a conference call to one of my colleagues' mom! She was so shocked!
From analysts to managing directors everybody were very supported and concerned with our progress.
I was plenty busy but still had reasonable working hours. At Barclays is all about working SMART rather than working HARD.
I was owning the majority of the processes run by my team which was an amazing opportunity to show what I can do.
I developed a lot of valuable skills (both technical and soft) which will help me in my future career path.
The Company
It wasn't a non-stop party since we do serious work which needs a lot of attention but still it was never dull and there was a lot of banter going round during less busy times.
The organisation was perfect with loads of networking events and shadowing sessions.
We got a lot of attention at our desks, online training and a very long initial training program.

The Culture
We went out every Friday and most weekends.
Canary wharf is quite expensive.
Not a ot of nightlife in canary wharf but it's very easy to get to bars and clubs near by.
There are 5 social networks and countless sports and common-interest clubs.
