  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?
  • It was an enjoyable six weeks, particularly the residential induction which was a great opportunity to meet other interns.

  • Everyone was very welcoming and helpful.

  • 3. To what extent were you given support and guidance by management/your supervisor(s)?
  • Setting targets was interesting but not particularly useful at this time as the internship was quite short.

  • There were some days when there was not much to do and others lots so overall a good balance.

  • I was given tasks that a graduate would be given which was very insightful. It was assuring that my work was also checked by someone else though.

  • 6. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and training you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?
  • I definitely developed skills in how to manage a working day 9-530 as opposed to student life!

  • It was very friendly and nice that there was free fruit!

  • The whole internship was extremely well organised and run, I was very impressed.

  • The company did a lot to help the interns develop.

  • 12. Was there a good social scene amongst any fellow placement students/colleagues?
  • After getting to know other interns at the induction it was good to have this social group.

  • I lived at home so it was normal for me

  • I've heard there are sports teams to join when you work full time but I didn't participate in these during my internship.
