The Role
Definitely, a great place to start a career : young company, good perks, most amazing work atmosphere I ever found (everyone is listening to you carefully and you can engage a conversation with everyone)
You are not doing basic work, and your colleagues treat you as their peers.
8am-6pm everyday. That's ok but it will be hard to find some time to chill out during these hours.
I did three internships and this was the place where I had the biggest responsabilities : projects, presentations, clients meetings. If you have a good idea of improvement and you can convince the business managers, they will implement it asap.
How to present a project business focused. Communication skills on the phone and in presentations. how to keep a track of your biggest achievements.
The Company
Even if it is the crisis, Bloomberg employees are very young and know how to party ! More seriously, I never found one sad people during 10 weeks (world record). Everyone smiles all day long despite the hard work.
Compared to other internships you will always have something to do. The internships responsibles have well organized your 10 weeks.
1 week of training on theoretical finance. Everyday, there is a podium where you can learn something interesting.
Subsidised Canteen
Company Parties/Events
Healthcare from home
Even if it is the crisis, they are hiring and not firing !
The Culture
The most amazing and diverse people I've ever seen. I made many friends.
London is not cheap, but the salary is decent, and you can live properly !
Legendary ! The Pubs in the city are amazing and shoreditch is not so far !
