    The Role

  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?
  • The work was challenging, very well crafted towards my preferences and social life was incredible!

    5/5

  • 2. To what extent did you feel valued by your colleagues?
  • Everyone was extremely helpful. EY has a very open approach towards working environment. There are no closed offices, every sites in an open plan office on hot desks - one day you find yourself sitting next to an intern and the following you are sitting next to a senior partner, no matter which one is it they are all approachable and caring.

    5/5

  • 3. To what extent were you given support and guidance by management/your supervisor(s)?
  • I have worked on 2 projects and from what I have seen and experienced it all depends on your team where one manager will be micromanaging a lot wheres the other will leave you much more freedom however in EY there is one rule, you get out what you put in. If you need support and you ask for it, you will most definitely get it.

    4/5

  • 4. How busy were you on a daily basis?
  • There were ups and downs, when the project is approaching the end you will be busier than when you are just starting but it is very manageable. However EY is not a 9 to 5 job, it's more than that but it is also much more rewarding

    3/5

  • 5. How much responsibility were you given during your placement?
  • In my first project I was working in a very big project and my tasks were pretty minor however my other project was very small and I was given huge responsibilities, my manager was just giving me big targets and it was up to me how I reach them.

    4/5

  • 6. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and training you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?
  • I did step up my skill to a way other level but I have also learned to manage projects much better too and so did my time management improved. Overall it was very useful experience and definitely is helping me in my third year

    4/5

    The Company

  • 7. What was the general atmosphere in your office?
  • Office atmosphere is very friendly, everyone is very approachable and helpful. We constantly social with the co-workers too which makes the atmosphere very like group of friends rather than just workers.

    4/5

  • 8. How well organised was the overall work placement or internship set up?
  • it was very well crafted and I got a lot of support. I felt a bit lost on my first two days at work but I guess that's natural coming to an office with 4000 people

    4/5

  • 9. In terms of personal training and development, to what extent did the company or firm invest in you?
