The Role
I really enjoyed my placement. It was a challenging yet very exciting internship. My role gave me the opportunity to further develop my skills and also learn much more about the line of business I was working in.
I feel my colleagues really appreciated my work. They included me and although I was an intern, my input was valued by the rest of my team.
My manager and team were extremely supportive. I felt comfortable to even approach senior managers. My manager welcomed my questions and was very supportive throughout the entire internship.
Every was a busy day, this was great as I was able to learn how to manage my time well. Despite having busy days, I believe the balance was right.
Being in a projects team, I was responsible for a lot of the work I was producing. I feel that I was given enough responsibility which encouraged me to find ways to add value to the team.
The skills I developed have assisted in a number of ways, for example I have learnt how to manage my time better, this is a skill which is necessary at university. I have also developed more confidence when presenting. Overall, I believe the skills I developed and the training I received will assist me at my degree studies and beyond.
