The Role
Was made to feel very welcome by the firm.
Given high levels of responsibility, with opportunities to work a variety of levels of colleagues from trainees to partners. Colleagues went out of their way to provide me with a very valuable insight.
Feedback at the end of my first week helped me with the tasks that I undertook in the second week.
Given a good balance of work.
Great level of responsibility, but there was always a helping hand just in case.
Learnt many office skills which will aid me during my training contract.
The Company
There was a contrast in atmosphere between my two weeks.
The placement was really well structured with a variety of tasks to complete.
Trip to Bristol to participate in a training day with future trainees highlighted the investment that the firm placed during the placement.
Company Parties/Events
Have been offered a training contract with the firm.
The Culture
Yes the firm encouraged the placement student and trainees to interact as much as possible, which was by spending lunch out of the office in a group.
I lived close to my placement so there was minimal living cost for myself and any lunches out / travel expenses where covered by the firm.
Did not go out during my placement
Trip to Bristol for cocktail making, but this was the only one.
