The Role
My placement was extremely rewarding and achieved enjoyment through job satisfaction.
I felt extremely valued by my colleagues and was seen not just as an intern but as a valid member of the team.
The management gave great guidance and saw it their responsibility to progress your skills through the year.
Once the skills and techniques were learnt I was busy with worthwhile work 9-5.
My role was very transparent so there was a great deal of responsibility. Were seen as a vital member of the team.
The transferable skills I developed during my placement are priceless not just for future jobs but for my final year as well.
The Company
The atmosphere was very friendly and a joy to work in.
The placement was incredibly well organised and was set up so you got the most out of the year.
I received the necessary formal training to be able to carry out my job role, which was mainly system training. However my colleagues were always available to provide guidance and advice when needed.

The company does not have a graduate scheme however is very open to hiring previous placement students when job positions arise.
The Culture
The placement was incredibly sociable as there were a large number interns working at the time.
The cost of living was high as it was based in West London but this was expected.
The night life in the area I worked was average but you didn't need to travel far to find a good night out.
Disney are very keen to get everyone involved in' out of work' scheme's. These varied from small team events to large scale charitable activities.
