The Role
It was very valuable
We were treated like adults and were not given busy work.
They were always willing to help and never made us feel like a burden.
It was OK at the start but as the placement progressed we were busier and busier.
We had control over our own project.
Studies maybe not so much but I learned some new skills and it vastly improved my employability.
The Company
All students my age, excellent.
They've done it for years so that had good and bad aspects.
Nothing explicitly but the placement itself was good in that respect.
Flexi Time
Subsidised/Company Gym
Got a job. It's easy if you put in a bit of work.
The Culture
It was an excellent social scene.
Ipswich is not very expensive for anything.
On the other hand you have to make much of your own fun in Ipswich.
There are things if you look and you can always make your own fun/opportunities.
