The Role
Thoroughly enjoyed it and I learnt a lot of useful skills
Definitely felt valued as part of the team
I was given quite a lot of support but they also liked me to figure things out for myself sometimes
very busy but in a good way, it has helped my time management skills
I was given quite a lot which surprised me but it was nothing I couldn't handle and each new responsibility was introduced gradually
my time management, eye for detail and project management skills have all improved
The Company
Disney toys team is a very fun place to work!
I was the first placement student for a few years so my team weren't 100% sure of all the processes but Disney has many interns so it was all sorted quickly
4 or 5 compulsory training sessions including a full day brand training which was really interesting
Flexi Time
Subsidised Canteen
Company Parties/Events
I've been told they would love me back but it would depend if there is a vacancy when I graduate
The Culture
Yes it was excellent and there was a great camaraderie between interns
Quite expensive, especially if you factor in travel costs
good
Quite a few opportunities and social events most fridays. Also the option to volunteer at events such as Rapunzels tea party
