The Role
I had a good time and it was nice to work with the other interns. However, it wasn't as analytical as I anticipated and perhaps that was a failing on my part for not reading up more.
I felt like I mixed in quite well with the team.
People were always happy to answer questions and meet up for coffees to talk about markets or their roles.
It varied from quite busy to sitting on our hands
A fair amount. I had weekly tasks and reports that no one else did.
I got some useful skills for life like better time management and multi-tasking. They were of no use to my degree though
The Company
People were generally quite positive
It relied too heavily on your project manager which was great for some people
They seemed to invest a fair amount in the internship programme and they believed in its aims.
Company Parties/Events
I got the job
The Culture
Yes everyone was friends with everyone and there were a few nights out together as well.
It was definitely possible to get some socialising done most nights of the week.
It was London. Need I say more?
Yes but with the other interns not from the firm
